What are the delivery requirements?
We need clear access to the delivery location which will allow for a truck and 25 foot trailer, the height clearance needed will be the normal 13'6" from limbs, wires, etc. as well as underground clearance from septic tanks, ditches, pipes, etc. and 12' to 14' width clearance.
Is there a delivery fee?
No delivery fee within 25 miles of the nearest dealer. There is a $4.00 per mile fee for every mile over 25 miles and deliveries over 25 miles must be approved by a BetterBuilt Storage representative. If it takes our driver longer than 45 minutes to set the building, there will be a charge of $50 per hour payable at the time of delivery.
Does the building have to be placed on blocks?
No. All of our buildings are made with treated lumber on exposed areas.
The building does need to be leveled, so if the ground slopes, you will need to provide cement blocks for leveling. THE FOLLOWING FEES APPLY FOR LEVELING:
- For buildings 16 feet in length or shorter (leveling is free up to 8"), there is a charge of $100 dollars if leveling of over 8 inches is required.
- For buildings 20 feet or greater in length, we recommend placing the building on level ground. There is a $150 fee due at the time of delivery if leveling is required and our drivers will not level the building over 8 inches.
What if I want to purchase my building after I have started making rental payments?

When do my payments begin if I am a rent to own customer?
Your payment date begins 30 days from delivery date of your building. You will be given a temporary coupon at time of delivery. You will receive a coupon book in the mail for your future payments.
How many payments must I make to own the building?
If you make all your monthly payments and have no other outstanding charges, the building is yours at the end of your contract. (REFER TO THE RENTAL PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR SPECIFIC DETAILS REGARDING YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS.)
What if I do not want the building after I have started making payments?
Call us and we will pick-up the building.
What if I need my building moved?
No problem! Just give us a call to make arrangements. The fee is $200.00 within 25 miles, and 4.00 per mile for every mile over 25 miles. This is a convenience we only offer to our customers!
